Privacy Policy

• Account info — When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We do not access your Google password.
• Expense data — Transactions you create (amounts, descriptions, categories, dates) are stored to provide the core service.
• Room data — Room names, members, and shared expenses you add are stored to enable group expense splitting.

• Display your expenses, balances, and insights within the app.
• Calculate split amounts and settle-up suggestions for shared rooms.
• Send in-app notifications about new shared expenses.
• Generate PDF exports of your expense data when you request them.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore). Firebase provides encryption at rest and in transit. Access to your data is restricted by Firestore security rules that verify your authenticated identity before every read or write.

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request data deletion, all associated personal expenses, room memberships, and notifications will be permanently removed within 30 days.

• Google Sign-In — Used for authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase (Google Cloud) — Used for data storage, authentication, and hosting.

• Access — You can view all your data within the app at any time.
• Export — You can export your expenses as PDF from the app.
• Deletion — You can delete individual transactions, rooms, or request full account deletion by contacting us.

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
